JSPS Core to Core Program:
Standardization and dissemination of mitigation technologies for landslide disasters

Objectives:

This program aims at developing and disseminating the practical technologies for mitigation of landslide disasters. The research group consists of researchers and engineers from China, Taiwan, Indoneia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Japan. These coutries have a lot of experiences of landslide disasters. Information of thier concerned technologies are collected and exchanged in this project, and they are progresed to be a practical system of technologies.
The activity consists of workshops to exchange thier technologies, joint research works including field monitoring and detailed investigation at slope disaster fields in respective countries for practical developement, publication, and technical short courses for practitioners at several places.
